Tito fires up York

The Tito Puente Jr. Orchestra brought its Latin tunes to the York College Performing Arts Center Oct. 13. He performed “Ran Kan Kan,” “Oye Como Va,” “El Cayuco” and included a special dedication to Puente’s son called “Complications”. Comment.

Turn your kitchen into a bazaar

If you love to watch cooking shows, why not do it up close and personal at the Turkish Cultural Center Queens? Turkish cooking classes, a project of the TCCCQ Womens’ Association headed by Deniz Ozbudak, are held there monthly on the second Wednesday. Comment.

Queens Musem of Art thriving in hard times
