Business owners near Corona Plaza, upset over what they contend is unfair competition from vendors who operate on the streets and moving vans which take up parking spaces for customers, have asked elected officials for help. Comment.

Corona man charged in kidnapping

A 22-year-old Corona man has been charged with kidnapping, robbery and assault for allegedly striking his landlady over the head with a metal pipe and keeping her in his apartment for more than six hours, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said last Thursday. Comment.
