Braunstein to hold spring blood drive

State Assemblyman Edward Braunstein (D-Bayside) is sponsoring a spring blood drive in conjunction with the New York Blood Center. The drive will take place April 2 from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Long Island Rail Road Bayside station on Bell Boulevard and 41st Avenue. Comment

Sacred Heart alumns help out orphans

These teens loved books so much that they decided to share over 1,500 of them with orphans in the Philippines. Chris Wren and Maggie Cash looked to their former Bayside school to help collect books for “Reading Rocks the World,” a donation campaign they helped start. Comment
