Discover native plants in bloom and celebrate NYC Wildflower Week with a guided tour. 1 pm.

3 years old only. Pre-register. Snacks, blaze a trail, take home a caterpillar. 1:30 pm.

World class magician Peter Samelson and sleight of hand wizard Dennis Kyriakos. Amateur magicians are welcome to perform for prizes. 2 pm.

Fifty players from 8 to 16 will be selected for the academy, a free six-week tournament-training program held from July–August. 3 pm.

Ages 6-11. Pre-register. Explore parts of the park rarely seen. 10:30 am.

New this year is our T-Ball program for children ages 3–6 years old. This instructional and recreational program was developed to teach the fundamental skills of throwing, catching, fielding, base running and hitting. Children will participate in game play as they develop their skills. Our Youth Soccer League for children ages 3½ to 12 years old returns this spring! The league is being held outdoors at the Forest Hills High School field. The program begins on April 1st with an evaluation/skills clinic and runs for a total of 8 Sundays. Children will be evaluated and placed on teams based on their age level and or ability. Skills covered will include passing, trapping, shooting, and offense and defense alignments. Sportsmanship and fair play are taught and the emphasis is always on learning, not winning or losing. 12 pm.

Games, rides and entertainment for all. noon–4 pm.
