CEC 24 to rezone district

District 24 Community Education Council voted Tuesday to shift the zone boundaries of six Glendale schools for the coming school year to alleviate overcrowding and create a new elementary school in the process. Comment.

Nassau man charged in two 112th robberies

Police arrested a man Sunday in two robberies that police believe are connected to a string of purse snatchings in the 112th Precinct. And the man’s suspected accomplice is still at large, according to the Queens district attorney and the NYPD, who drew ire from the community about their handling of the case. Comment.
