Weprin holds winter toy drive

This winter, state Assemblyman David Weprin (D-Little Neck) is hosting his first winter toy drive. Weprin will be collecting new and unwrapped toys for children throughout Queens who may otherwise go without gifts this holiday season. The drive will run through Dec. 19. Comment.

Douglaston bus stop to return

The case of the disappearing bus stop has been solved, Community Board 11 Chairman Jerry Iannece said, and the MTA will soon be replacing the Q12 bus stop at the corner of Northern Boulevard and Douglaston Parkway that mysteriously vanished a little more than a month ago. Comment.
