Elmhurst man sentenced for 2014 murder of wife

ELMHURST - An Elmhurst man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of his wife in Dec. 2014, after which he wrote a suicide note in her name before going to work at a Whitestone restaurant, where he was caught on camera washing blood from his shoes. Luis Paguay, 43, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder this past June and appeared before Acting Supreme Court Justice Dorothy Chin-Brandt Monday for sentencing. Comment
