Ex-Gov. Paterson appointed to MTA board

Gov. Andrew Cuomo Monday appointed former Gov. David Paterson to the board of directors of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which oversees the subways, buses, bridges and the Long Island Rail Road as well as MetroNorth. Comment

Employee errors caused LIRR’s Sept. chaos: MTA

Poll finds Elmhurst favors LIRR station
