This exhibit is part of QBG’s season of World’s Fairs anniversary events and will trace the history of our Garden and its ties to the Fairs.

Peruse local produce and specialty products at this seasonal market. 8:30 am–4 pm.

Local residents will be able to buy fresh, local and seasonal produce grown and produced by New York State farmers at our market. The market will be set up on Dahlia Avenue, directly off of Main Street, outside the Garden fence. 8:30 am.

The NY World’s Fairs and the Port Authority Bringing Trade, Travel and Tourism to Queens, The Region and the World Tuesday August 2 through Saturday November 1 Fee: Free with Garden Admission In our continuing celebration of the New York World’s Fairs, enjoy this Port Authority multimedia exhibit which will be on view in the auditorium lobby. 08:30am–5:30 pm.

Children are encouraged to explore science through slides, seesaws, climbing webs, a water play area, sand boxes, and more, weather permitting. 9:30 am–5 pm.

Golfers of all ages can learn about key science concepts such as propulsion, gravity, escape velocity, launch window, gravitational assist, and more! 9:30 am–5 pm.

Infants and toddlers and their caregivers are invited for stories, songs, rhymes and playtime. 1:15–1:45 pm.

Children and teens with disabilities can practice swimming skills in this adaptive swim program. 4 pm.
