Christ the King’s Varsity B basketball team’s win in the city championship was celebrated during senior night at the Middle Village high school. The Royals beat out Holy Cross for the title during a game at St. Francis College in Brooklyn. Comment.

Principals rule against forfeits after coach’s death

Christ the King and Bishop Ford will not have to forfeit unplayed girls’ basketball games against Nazareth, the principals committee ruled last week in a meeting, despite a recommendation to do so by the CHSAA Brooklyn/Queens Eligibility and Infractions Committee. Comment.
