Gorynski shines for St. Francis at tourney

The St. Francis Prep girls basketball team lost to Immaculate Heart Academy in the championship game of the Immaculate Heart Academy Shootout in Washington Township, N.J. last Thursday, 68-65, in triple overtime.

Despite the loss, head coach Tom Finn said he was thrilled with the effort of his team, which advanced to the finals of the tournament despite missing two starters, Kristy Kiernan and Maura McShane, who were sidelined with the flu.
