Last year could not have been much better for Queens College softball coach Brian DeMasters. His team won the NYCAC tournament championship and advanced to the Northeast Regionals for the first time in school history.
But that was then and this is now.
With his entire infield gone and his lineup decimated, DeMasters will rely on pitching and timely hitting this season from an inexperienced team that could struggle at times in conference competition.
