After years of efforts by a few neighborhood dog owners, Cunningham Park will finally get an official dog run. In the past, owners risked being ticketed if they unleashed their dogs in the park.
The run will exist for a three-month trial period beginning in a month or so now that a maintenance agreement between the city Parks Department and Community Board 8 has been worked out, a Parks official said.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will follow the signing of the agreement detailing the run
