Intel taps 6 Queens students

It might be difficult to explain their winning projects in a few words, but the science know-how of six talented Queens public high school students has earned them and their individual schools $1,000 semifinalist prizes in the nationwide Intel Science Talent Search.

The Board of Education Monday announced that six 17-year-old Queens public high school students - Surbhi Grover of Martin Van Buren High School in Queens Village, Bhumika Balgobin and Karen Chang of Bayside
