The Cardozo girls basketball team took sixth place at the Monsignor King tournament in Brooklyn, which took place from Friday through Monday. The Judges fell to John Jay, 55-48 in the fifth-place game Monday afternoon. Shavonne Roundtree had 17 points for Cardozo (13-6) while Sharon Billips paced John Jay (11-6) with 26 points and Katiana Wright added 13.
The tournament was won by Bishop Kearney, which defeated Bishop Loughlin in a wild final 77-76.
