Convention center study gets $50K from Padavan

The Queens Chamber of Commerce has received a financial boost in its push to figure out if building a Queens County Convention Center makes sense for the borough.

State Sen. Frank Padavan (R-Bellerose) announced Monday that he secured $50,000 to finance a feasibility study. He did not say when the study would get underway.
