Livery cab driver sought in six rapes in Queens

Police were looking for a livery cab driver and immigrant suspected of raping and assaulting six women throughout Queens.

Cesar Vicuna, a 28-year-old Ecuadoran immigrant, allegedly assaulted his first victim in July 1999 in Elmhurst and apparently struck again last week in Fresh Meadows, police said. His last known address was 1979 Schenectady Ave. in Brooklyn. Vicuna lived at the address six years ago when he was convicted of sexual assault and served five months in jail for the crime, said police.

At a news conference Friday afternoon in the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills, police described Vicuna as having brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5-foot-7 and weighing about 175 pounds. Police said he is probably using someone else
