Strong performances by Catherine Aguirre with 20 points, Randi Citron with 14, and Caitlin Fitzpatrick and Melissa Weiss, with much needed key buckets, led the team to the win. Not to be outdone, Jennifer Arcarola hit for 20 points and 9-year-old prodigy Lauren Geffen scored for a season-high of 10 points.

Family Pizza split this week, losing one to the ‘Kats’, 26-22, and winning one against Utopia Chiropractor, 26-16. Natasha Simon and Stephanie Lopez continue to fight hard for Family Pizza. Despite their 4-12 record,. Family Pizza are a tough team to beat, especially with the defensive combination of Zoe Marguiles and Victoria Drake.

In the DAC 7- and 8-year-old instructional program, special mention goes out all-stars Blake Strax, Ashley Samet and Yvonne Uriarte, who were very attentive this week in learning some very difficult basketball plays.
