Name: Eugene Liddie

School: Campus Magnet

Sport: Football

Position: Quarterback

Year: Senior

Height: 5-foot-10

Weight: 185

Liddie was huge for Campus Magnet in a dramatic 27-20 overtime win at neighborhood rival August Martin Saturday. The senior quarterback had two touchdowns, including the game-winning run from the four-yard line. In his first year as quarterback, Liddie showed grace under pressure, connecting with Vaughn Davis twice, once for a 24-yard touchdown pass and again on fourth-and-11 in overtime.

“It was a hard game, but we weren’t going to lose. That was out of the question,” said Liddie, who defeated August Martin for the first time in his career.
