Parents are invited to attend a free, no-obligation financial aid seminar on Monday starting at 7 p.m., at the Kaplan location at Queens College Student Union.
At 1-2-3 College.com's free financial aid seminar, parents will learn: how the financial aid system really works; how to avoid the most common mistakes parents make; all about college savings/529 plans with advantages and disadvantages; how to pick a college that will give their children the best financial aid package, including scholarships and grants; and how to negotiate with colleges to get the best financial aid package.
