Sit beneath the moon, feel the soft ocean breeze and let the Rockaway Artists Alliance entertain you.

Kick back for two evenings of classic cinema on Friday, June 20, and Saturday, June 21 at 8:45 p.m. Bring a blanket, a beach chair, and your appetite for great films.

Load up the car or jump on the bus, and enjoy “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” on Friday and come back Saturday to watch “Young Frankenstein” with some newfound friends. Enjoy the beauty of the city’s best kept secret — Fort Tilden, a national park, where you will be reintroduced the magic of the movies.

Since Rockaway is a community without a movie theater, this event has an appreciated significance for the people of Southwest Queens and the surrounding areas.
