SPRINGFIELD GARDENS — Police were still searching for a severely disabled 9-year-old girl from Springfield Gardens, according to published reports, after she was reported missing from her Manhattan day care center.

SPRINGFIELD GARDENS — Police were still searching for a severely disabled 9-year-old girl from Springfield Gardens, according to published reports, after she was reported missing from her Manhattan day care center.

Stephanie Ramos is blind, and cannot walk or speak, the reports said.

The girl’s foster mother went to pick up her child at 7 p.m. and was told by workers Stephanie was not there, police said in the published reports.

Workers said they last saw Stephanie at 5:30 p.m. in the Variety/Cody House on East 91st St., the reports said.
