Garden girls ousted in GISAL-Div I semis

Loyola was led by its two junior co-captains, Molly Turbidy (24 points) and Kathleen Abels (20 points). Courtney Blue added eight points. The Lady Griffins’ Monika Derrien had a team-high 17 points to go along with 11 rebounds, four steals and four assists. Amanda Krol and Yomna Nassef scored 11 points and seven points, respectively.

The Garden School ended the season with an overall record of 10-7 while capturing third place in the GISAL-Div. I standings with a 5-5 record. This was the fourth consecutive year that Garden has qualified for post-season play. The past three seasons were in Division II.
