After struggling in a loss to St. Joseph by the Sea, Chris Ryan showed why he is the most prolific scorer in the CHSHL ‘B’ division with a dominating two-goal, one-assist effort in a 4-2 win over previously undefeated Molloy last Thursday.

Ryan, the TimesLedger CHSHL Player of the Year last season, leads the CHSHL ‘B’ with 28 goals and 14 assists for 42 points.

Honor Roll

Rosalyn Gold-Onwude and Kerri-Ann Jetter connected on four three-pointers apiece to lead the Archbishop Molloy Stanners over the St. Francis Prep Terriers, 80-64. Gold-Onwude finished with 26, Jetter had 18 and teammate Jessica McEntee added 22 ... Tina Charles scored 26 points in leading the Christ the King Royals over St. John-Vianney, 75-46, in non-league action ... St. John’s Prep’s Meghan Foley scored 19 in a loss to Bishop Ford ... Larry Davis scored 12 points, all in the second half, to lead the CK Royals to a 46-38 first-round win over Holy Cross in the Brooklyn/Queens Diocesan Tournament ... Chris William scored 18 points to lead St. John’s Prep over Cardinal Spellman, 70-63 ... Bryan Geffen scored 20 to lead St. Francis Prep in a heartbreaking 67-63 loss to Bishop Loughlin.
