Today’s news:

Nike to hold hoop camp at Douglaston facility

The Game 7 team is made up of some of the finest high school, NCAA and AAU coaches and players in New York. The coaches are originally from the area, but some have branched out to coach Division I programs in Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New York and Maryland. Some of the staff plays at the professional ranks overseas in European and Asian leagues.

The main goal of the camp is to provide a place where young players can work on their skills and learn from some of the best coaches in the country. Nike has specifically chosen the Game 7 staff to provide instruction to hundreds of players in the metro area. The camp will serve as a great opportunity to local youth of Queens and the surrounding area.

The www.USSportsCamps.com Web site is updated and taking signups. Players can register by phone (Visa or Master Card) or online. We anticipate all camp sessions will fill up quickly. To register right away, parents can call 1-800-NIKE-CAMP (800-645-3226) to reserve a player’s spot and avoid the wait list.
