The program, open to the general public, will be held in the Parish House of the New Utrecht Reformed Church, 1831 84th Street.
President Lincoln will be portrayed by James Getty of Gettysburg, PA, now in his 26th year of presenting our 16th president to audiences throughout the country. His talk will start with reminiscences of growing up on the frontier and culminates with a recitation of his most famous speech, "The Gettysburg Address.
Uniformed members of the 14th Brooklyn Regiment, Company H, Civil War re-enactors, will escort Mr. Lincoln. This will be a unique "hands on" experience for all who attend.
