In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. vision of non-violence, six Bronx high schools will battle it out on the hardwood courts of James Monroe Campus High School during a day of friendly competition.
The first Monroe Campus High School Basketball Classic will take place on Saturday, January 13, with three games taking place throughout the day.
First, at noon, Jane Addams High School will take on Bronx Leadership Academy.
Next, at 2 p.m., Lehman High School will go up against Walton High School.
Finally, at 4 p.m., the home school, Monroe, will take on Evander Childs in what is sure to be a thrilling conclusion to a positive day.
