Today’s news:

Some things just get better with age. Take the Throgs Neck Little League for example. Formed 55 years ago, the league is setting the tone for its future with some major changes for the better.

The league will be celebrating its anniversary at a very special dinner dance on Saturday, February 10, and it will be at the Marina del Rey where the organization hopes to make some very positive announcements.

One of the big projects in the works is a lighting project that the league hopes to have complete by the time the first pitch of the season is thrown on April 15.
