COLUMBUS EXPLORERS DEFEAT TILDEN 57-33; SIGN OF THINGS TO COME

The girls from the Columbus Explorers may have received the shot in the arm they needed to pull away in the Bronx B II Division with a big showing at the PSAL Girls B Basketball Showcase at the High School for Construction.

Senior Ishonda McFarland had 13 points, eight of which came in the first quarter, helping the Columbus Explorers pull away with a 14 to 2 lead. The team would never relinquish the lead.

Sophomore Jessica Bentley added nine points as Columbus defeated Tilden 57-33, highlighting just why Columbus is the team to beat this year.
