Kyle London put Holy Cross (5-7 CHSHL B South) in front with a power play goal at 7:29 of the first period, but Eddie Schwartz tied the game at 1 in the second period and the game remained deadlocked until the third period.
The Knights actually took a 2-1 lead on an unassisted goal by John Quinn at 9:35, but McClancy (6-4) responded with back-to-back unassisted goals by Steven Miller and Anthony Vennitti in less than two minutes and Brandon Ferguson added an empty net goal with 50 seconds left in the third period to ice the win for the Crusaders.
