Capt. Alberto Sanchez, who is assigned to the Cadet Corps but previously served in Patrol Borough Queens North, was rearrested and charged with the Sept. 1, 2006 assault of a woman in Manhattan's 9th Precinct after the victim provided additional information to police, authorities said.

The arrest followed a Dec. 3 alleged assault that took place late in the evening on the corner of Barkley and East Tremont avenues in the Bronx, police said.

Sanchez was suspended after the December arrest, police said.
