Fernando Tirado, a former Department of Health employee for 13 years, is the new Bronx Community Board 7 district manager.

Tirado, who began his new role in January, covering the neighborhoods of Bedford Park, Fordham, Norwood, and University Heights, replaced 19-year CB7 veteran manager Rita Kessler.

And while he is still getting his feet wet in the new position, the new district manager wants his tenure at the board to stress the positive virtues of the community.
