Far Rock man raped woman: Cops

Wayne Robinson, 25, of 7115 Beach Channel Drive in Far Rockaway, allegedly saw the 21-year-old victim driving on Rockaway Turnpike in North Lawrence, L.I. back on Dec. 21 when he flagged her down, police said.Robinson then asked the woman to drive him to Inwood before getting in the front passenger seat and showing her a black handgun, police said.He ordered the victim to drive to Brooklyn, police said, where Robinson allegedly sexually assaulted the woman in her car.Police said the 21-year-old was "released" by Robinson "after an extended period of time."The woman went back to Nassau County, where she alerted authorities about the incident, police said.Robinson was arrested at around 5:30 p.m. Jan. 2 at his Far Rockaway home, police said.
