Man took wallet from shopping cart: Police

LITTLE NECK — Police said they were searching for a man who took a woman's wallet from her shopping cart at a supermarket on Northern Boulevard in Little Neck last Thursday.

The thief snatched the wallet, filled with credit cards, from the shopping cart when the victim turned around to get a loaf of bread at a Little Neck Stop & Shop, police said.

The victim told police she had seen a man in the aisle with her before the wallet went missing, police said.
