Since 1986, Frances Arico has fought for a method to slow down traffic on Ampere Avenue. Now, after 22 years, she feels her hard work is starting to pay off.

In the near future, the Department of Transportation will install two speed humps on Ampere Avenue, between Kennellworth Place and Dwight Place, an attempt to slow down traffic on what residents say is a very dangerous road.
