FLUSHING — Four men, including one from Flushing, were arrested last week in connection with 19 robberies in Brooklyn and Queens, police said.
Darnell Johnson, 24, of 157−09 Horace Harding Expwy.; Jamal Diaz, 21, of Brooklyn; Joseph Alexander, 22, of Brooklyn; and Desmond McNeil, 22, of Brooklyn, were charged with multiple counts of robbery in the incidents, which took place between Oct. 18 and Dec. 1.
The suspects hit convenience stores in Corona, Floral Park, Flushing, Forest Hills, Fresh Meadows, Glendale, Jackson Heights, Jamaica, Oakland Gardens, and locations in Brooklyn, police said.
Johnson and his cohorts would enter the stores armed with handguns and demand money, police said.
