OAKLAND GARDENS — Police were asking for the public’s help in finding at least one person who they claim broke into a house early Saturday morning.

The incident took place at a house near 229th Street and 64th Avenue between midnight and 4 a.m. police said. The perpetrator forced open a rear window of the residence and took a flat screen TV, investigators said.

No arrests had been made as of press time Tuesday. Anyone with information is urged to call Crimestoppers at 1−800−­577−TIPS (8477). All calls will be kept confidential.
