GREEN BUSES LOANED TO AREA NON-PROFITS

The largest-scale hybrid vehicles ever used in the Bronx are making their way around parts of the borough, with hopes that the green buses will soon be shuttling more people throughout the entire borough.

Thanks to a grant obtained by the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation, five hybrid buses that each seat up to 18 passengers, will be providing free service for the agencies to which they were loaned.
