BAYSIDE — Two Long Island men were busted in Bayside with 41 cases of assorted fireworks in their car May 14, police said.
Joseph Aydelotte Sr., 61, and Joseph Aydelotte Jr., 37, were charged with unlawful dealing with fireworks after police from the 111th Precinct pulled the two over on the Cross Island Parkway at the Northern Boulevard exit and found the fireworks, police said.
The Bayside police had received notice about the van from Pennsylvania cops who witnessed the two individuals loading large amounts of fireworks into a Chevy cargo van with New York plates, police said.
