ELMHURST — Two men were arrested Tuesday for allegedly assaulting two women with a bike seat and a brick, the Queens district attorney said.
Raul Baltazar, 26, of 74th Street in Elmhurst, was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment in Queens Criminal Court a day after he threw the seat at a woman, according to the DA. Roberto Motesta, 25, was charged with the same counts and reckless endangerment for throwing a brick at another woman at the same location, the DA said.
Around 6:45 p.m., Baltazar and Motesta got into an argument with the women outside a home on 92nd Street and 37th Avenue when they threw the projectiles at their legs, according to the criminal complaint. The victims suffered bruises and lacerations to their legs, according to the criminal complaint.
