Pickpocket stole cell phone in Astoria: Cops

ASTORIA — Police released the image last week of a man wanted in connection with a robbery.

The suspect allegedly pickpocketed a T-Mobile Sidekick cell phone from a pedestrian near 38th Avenue and Crescent Street June 13 around 9 p.m., according to police. He then fled in an unknown direction, police said.
