WOODHAVEN — A 27-year-old Richmond Hill man was arrested after he allegedly struck another man with a glass cup and punched him at a Woodhaven bar, the Queens district attorney said.

Jose Rosado, of 113-08 Jamaica Ave. in Richmond Hill, was arraigned July 26 before Queens Criminal Court Judge Lenora Gerald on assault and harassment charges and released on his own recognizance, Queens DA Richard Brown said. He will return to court Sept. 22, the DA said.

On July 26, the defendant allegedly hit another man in the forehead with a glass cup and then repeatedly punched him about his body inside Woodhaven’s Coconos Bar and Lounge on Atlantic Avenue, the DA said.

Police allegedly observed a bruise on the victim’s face and a laceration on his forehead, Brown said. The victim was treated at a borough hospital for his injuries.
