Today’s news:

Carrozza cares about her constituents

Both my wife and I have known state Assemblywoman Ann-Margaret Carrozza (D-Bayside) for a long time. Whenever my wife or I had a problem or question, we knew we could always count on Carrozza and her staff to give good advice and point us in the right direction.

Carrozza has always been there for seniors in our community, like my wife and I. Carrozza and her staff treat young people and seniors with compassion.

She coordinates successful holiday toy drives, brightening the holidays of many young children. Carrozza does not forget about our veterans, either. Both my wife and I have participated in Carrozza’s holiday drives for our veterans at the St. Albans Veteran’s Hospital. I go there with my wife and we help distribute gifts. I hold this issue near and dear to my heart, since I am a veteran of World War II.

This is my reason for knowing Carrozza. She is, and has always been, a wonderful, caring person to my wife and I, as well as the community she serves.

We are blessed to have someone like Carrozza, with her knowledge, compassion and dedication to serve and continue to serve our community as our assemblywoman.
