JACKSON HEIGHTS — A woman was arraigned last month for allegedly stealing an MP3 music player from the inside of another person’s pocketbook, the Queens district attorney’s office said.
Arlene Fermin, 26, of 94th Street was charged with petit larceny Feb 17, according to the DA’s office.
On Valentine’s Day, the victim placed her pocketbook, which contained an iPod, on a couch in her office break room and left the room, the criminal complaint said.
Surveillance footage captured Fermin allegedly taking the iPod out of the victim’s pocketbook and placing it in her pocketbook, according to the complaint.
