FAR ROCKAWAY — A 33-year-old man has been arrested on charges of holding up a pedestrian last month, the Queens district attorney’s office said.
Shawn Edmontson of Dickens Street was arraigned Feb. 17 on robbery charges in the Feb. 6 incident, according to the DA’s office.
He allegedly approached the victim at the corner of Beach Channel Drive and Mott Avenue around 8:30 p.m. and ordered him to give up his wallet, the criminal complaint said.
Edmontson and an unapprehended accomplice fled with the man’s wallet, according to the complaint.
