RIDGEWOOD — Police were asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 15- to 16-year-old black girl and four 15- to 16-year-old black boys wanted in connection with a “strong-arm robbery” that occurred May 21 at 3:34 p.m. on the stairwell entrance to the Halsey St. L line subway station.
The suspects followed an 18-year-old male out of the station and attempted unsuccessfully to remove his backpack, but fled on foot with only his cell phone.
