CORONA — A Jamaica man was arrested last week for allegedly stabbing a person in several parts of their body, the Queens district attorney said.
Omar Slater, 19, of 132nd Avenue was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon charges June 13, according to the DA.
On June 6, he approached the victim near 133rd Street and Roosevelt Avenue and stabbed him twice in the abdomen and once in the leg with a sharp object, the criminal complaint said.
Slater allegedly told police he got into an argument with the victim over something he said about his girlfriend and it escalated, according to the complaint.
