CAMBRIA HEIGHTS — A Cambria Heights man was arraigned on assault and harassment charges after he allegedly attacked and choked a woman, a spokeswoman for the Queens district attorney said.
Ronald Soutar, 22, of 225-27 109th Ave. in Cambria Heights, allegedly threw the victim on the floor inside a 109th Avenue residence between 2:35 p.m. and 2:50 p.m. July 11, according to the criminal complaint.
Soutar allegedly grabbed the woman by her arms and clothes, dragged her outside, ripped off her shirt and bra and choked her, the complaint said.
Queens Criminal Court Judge Toko Serita released Soutar on his own recognizance during his arraignment July 12 on charges of assault and harassment, the spokeswoman said.
