Cops in veep escort injured in collision

JACKSON HEIGHTS — Two city Police Department officers escorting Vice President Joe Biden to meet Mayor Michael Bloomberg Friday clipped each other on their motorcycles, the New York Post reported.

The cops were slightly injured in the collision and transported to Elmhurst Hospital for injuries to the leg and back, as well as scrapes and bruises, the Post reported.
