WOODHAVEN — A woman was arrested last week after she allegedly took a knife to her husband during an argument, the Queens district attorney said.
Kenia Esteves, 32, was arraigned Jan. 10 on assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment charges, the DA said.
Around 3 a.m. that morning, She took a kitchen knife and stabbed her husband in the left arm and slashed his right forearm, the criminal complaint said.
The husband was taken to a undisclosed hospital while Esteves was arrested, the DA said. She allegedly told police she stabbed her spouse and claimed “he deserved it,” according to the complaint.
